Dartmouth College values the families and partners of its employees and offers numerous programs and services designed to assist the members of its community.
For example, Dartmouth’s Child Care Resource Office directs and administers the child care programs of the College, including the Child Care Project (a Child Care Resource and Referral agency supported by Dartmouth in collaboration with other Upper Valley employers and the United Way), the Dartmouth College Child Care Center, and provisions for Dartmouth employees to enroll children in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Child Care Center.
The Hopkins Center offers the HopStop Family Series, one-hour, informal, interactive programs designed specifically for families with young children in preschool through third grade.
And throughout the Upper Valley, you’ll find organizations that serve the recreational, social, educational, and spiritual needs of all ages. There is a strong sense of volunteerism and respect that is matched only by the encompassing splendor of the area’s natural environment.
