As well as offering an environment that encourages a love of learning and celebrates the diversity of its community, Dartmouth College provides its faculty and staff with a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. 

At Dartmouth, you have the opportunity to make the health and retirement plan choices that are right for you. Dartmouth offers three different health plan choices covering medical needs ranging from catastrophic expenses to preventive and routine care. You can choose from three different deductible options; $2,500 High Deductible Health Plan, an Open Access Plan (OAP1) with a $250 deductible, or an Open Access Plan (OAP2) with a $500 deductible. All plans are administered by Cigna.  Same-sex domestic partners of benefit-eligible employees are also eligible for medical plan coverage and other benefits.

Some of the many programs available at the College include dental and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, and wellness reimbursements.  

In addition to paid time off, including eight holidays, the College offers an extended Winter Break between Christmas and New Year’s Day.  All regular staff are eligible for these paid "break days.”
